The presentation was fully made using the Visme online software and is embedded to the course page.
There is an audio recorder for each slide – this quite a learning for me. I tried to record from within Visme, but my laptop mic wasn’t great. I tried recording using a mic and uploading the file to Visme but the best result was when the audio was recorded on my phone – the difference can be heard when you go through the slides.
presentation to learn about the academic structure. I was also tricky to match the times of actions with the audio, but I eventually got it. I initially was starting from working on the presentation and was recording the audio afterwards. As a result, I often had to rush and speak really fast. I realised that it should be the other way around.
Having explored that area I followed the steps for the other Visme presentations with audio:

  • Write the script
  • Record it
  • Listen to the recording and note times of actions that will be added
  • Add actions following times on the recording

Hover over the bottom of the slide to find the control bar that you can use to start the audio, enable the fullscreen mode or quickly jump between slides.
